Technologies and tools are evolving every day, and IE University constantly updates the Data and Business Analytics curriculum so students are knowledgeable of theĀ latest emerging software and programming advances on the market.

Throughout the program youā€™ll learn to use, design, and manage the latest data management and analytics tools out there, and apply these technologies to real-world problems. Ā 

Students have the unique opportunity to study the basics of data science (mathematics, statistics, and programming) as applied to real-life business cases, using real-life big data. Youā€™ll learn through a combination of theoretical and practical lectures and assignments, and youā€™ll experience field visits to major companies in the industry.

Itā€™s our aim to teach students as many relevant programming languages and statistical software as possible, including (but not limited to): SPSS, SAS, SQL, Python, and Hadoop. Youā€™ll also be equipped with in-depth knowledge of advanced topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Forecasting.
