One degree, two paths: finding the business bachelor’s program for you

Fondo logo E
Two world-class business degrees. Two distinct global journeys. One life-changing decision.

Choosing a degree is about more than just classes. It’s about how you’ll experience four transformative years. Both the Bachelor in Business Administration and the Global Bachelor in Business Administration at IE University offer a world-class education, but through different paths.

One centers around building roots on campus with the option to go abroad. The other offers built-in international exposure. Both offer experiential learning and exciting career paths. This question is, which is right for you?

A shared foundation

The Bachelor in Business Administration and the Global Bachelor in Business Administration are built on IE University’s rigorous standards.

Both offer the same fourth-year concentrations in diverse fields. And both give you access to IE University’s innovative ecosystem and industry connections to jump-start your career.

Beyond those similarities, let’s explore what makes each one unique

Where you’ll study and live

Bachelor in Business Administration: the campus-based experience

Bachelor in Business Administration students can either study in Segovia for two years and complete their degree in Madrid, or spend all four years in the Spanish capital. Longer stretches of time in one or both cities help students put down roots.

In Segovia, your campus is a historic monastery in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Madrid, you’ll live the big-city life and study at IE Tower, a 180-meter skyscraper in a key financial district.

Global Bachelor in Business Administration: the multi-city journey

The Global Bachelor in Business Administration gives you a true international experience. The program features an international rotation: year one in Madrid, year two in Dubai, year three in Singapore and a choice in year four: completing your bachelor’s in Madrid, or going to IENYC to earn a master’s degree.

Movement is built into the program’s structure. Every year, you’ll move to a new country and be exposed to new facilities, faculty and culture. This constant change means you’ll experience global business in real time.

Building your global network

Bachelor in Business Administration: diversity on campus

At IE University, students come from over 130 countries. You can meet them in class, in a student organization or while grabbing coffee. You’ll mix the Spanish daily life with the international ecosystem in your classes.

Optional exchange programs further broaden your experience. Bachelor of Business Administration students can do two separate semesters abroad in places including China and Brazil.

Global Bachelor in Business Administration: connections across continents

The cohort for the Global Bachelor in Business Administration is selective. You’ll move through different international hubs together and create a unique bond with your fellow students.

Living and studying in three or four distinct continents creates a global peer network, develops local connections to each and connects you with faculty and mentors across regions. Direct exposure to multiple cultures offers a diverse experience.

How you’ll learn and grow

Bachelor in Business Administration: progressive specialization

The core curriculum builds. In years one and two, you’ll learn business fundamentals. In year three, you’ll explore advanced topics, choose electives and study abroad. Finally, in year four, you can intern, specialize in one of eight concentrations and complete your final project.

IE University’s experiential learning model puts what you learn in the classroom to the test. Work on cross-university IE Challenges, solving real business problems, getting hands-on in entrepreneurship labs and even learning a new language.

Global Bachelor in Business Administration: hands-on global learning

The Global Bachelor in Business Administration features the same core curriculum with mandatory global modules. When changing locations, you’ll take courses to broaden your understanding of that culture.

Business Labs, Sprints and Corporate Challenges let you tackle real issues with industry-leading companies. Regional business treks expose you to more markets, including Morocco and Vietnam. And the Global Summer Experience further expands your opportunities.
