Glovo
Founded in Barcelona, Glovo is a booming business that allows customers to get their hands on anything they want in less than 60 minutes. With an on-demand mobile application, customers can order goods from any restaurant or shop in their city.
Currently, Glovo has raised an impressive €37.1 million in venture capital and is located in eight Spanish cities as well as Rome, Milan and Paris. Surpassing over one million orders in July, Glovo is aiming to hit two million purchases before January 1st!
HelloFresh
When life gets busy, who has time to cook?! Berlin-based startup, HelloFresh, is changing people’s lives by providing them with simple ways to get what they want quickly and conveniently. They’ve created a cooking-kit delivery service that sends pre-packaged ingredients and recipes to customers every week. Since they’ve made cooking fast and healthy meals more accessible than ever, this hungry startup has raised $364 million in venture capital.
Spotahome
Spotahome, a startup based in Madrid, is a rapidly growing online marketplace that is revolutionizing the rental industry. Their website offers customers the unique experience of finding and booking accommodation in the city of their choice online. Since 2014, the company has raised a total of €20.7 million.
Spotahome CEO and IE Law School alum, Alejandro Artacho, shared plans to expand the company and develop new products with the the €13.6 million the company raised this year. Spotahome’s office exemplifies a true startup grind as energetic employees work diligently to find valuable solutions to complex problems, while digitizing the rental world as we know it.
