At the IEU School of Architecture and Design, we have established a Design Council, made up of a community of individuals dedicated to innovation in the ever-evolving field of design. The DC is comprised of four types of members that work together to develop projects.
Advisors
The advisors are renowned and influential professionals that have their finger on the pulse of the vast world of design. They will define the Councilās agenda and the most important issues to tackle, which are mainly related to worldwide problems in design. Find the list of current advisors below:
Design studios
The studios are the design professionals who take on challenging projects for their clients and seek to develop them using ingenuity and the latest innovative aspects of design and creative thinking. They also bring projects for IEU students to collaborate on, fostering a hands-on learning environment. These are the studios part of the DC:
Business and institutions
The businesses and institutions are the Council members who know the value of design today and use it in their day-to-day business or institutional activities. These companies and public institutions will bring challenging projects for IEU students and professors to collaborate on, defining the problem and working on innovative solutions:
We believe that today more than ever it is of the utmost importance to combine professionals, industry, and academia to form a source of invaluable insight and knowledge for our students. Our school seeks to form a strong bond between education and the real world, to understand the latest cutting-edge design trends, and to maintain relationships with partners in the field who keep us up-to-date on whatās really happening.
