Top fashion-brand Loewe has been one of our most frequent recruiters of the IEU Class of 2016. We currently have several graduates from different programs working there, including the Bachelor of International Relations and the Bachelor of Business Administration. Inés Candel, BBA Class of 2016 graduate, shared some details about her recruitment process with Loewe. She is currently working in their HR Department.
How did you find out about this job opportunity?
I had the chance to apply for this internship thanks to the IE University Career Management Center. At that time, I was looking for an internship at a prestigious firm, and it just so happened that Loewe was looking for interns in marketing, customer service, and human resources. I applied to HR right away because I wanted to get to know every department within the company, something you can do if you work in the human resources department.
Tell us about the recruitment process at Loewe.
The recruitment process started with a phone call where they asked me questions about my CV and tested my English level. Then, they called me a few days later to set up an interview at their headquarters with the HR Coordinator. Once I had passed the interview, they called me to let me know that I was going to be the next Talent Intern at Loewe. I was so happy!
Would you like to share any tips or pieces of advice with current students interested in applying to Loewe?
The only tip that I can give students interested in applying to Loewe is to be relaxed and be yourself, because what the HR team really wants is to get to know the real you. Act natural and be curious!
