Clara Bütow, studying a Dual Degree in Business Administration and International Relations, was recently selected to participate in the P&G Future Female Leaders Summit. This outstanding student and class delegate discovered this opportunity in one of the weekly emails from IEU Talent & Careers.

The event focuses on attracting and hiring the best female talent for P&G, which currently has more than 105,000 employees worldwide. We were happy to hear that Clara (and six IE Master students) were among the 20 selected participants from universities across Spain and Portugal. The event took place on March 9th in Madrid.

We spoke to Clara about this unforgettable experience, and why she believes that other students can’t miss this opportunity.

“The P&G Future Female Leaders Summit was a really interesting, fun day with many different activities. Apart from having breakfast with current Sales Leaders from different departments and being able to ask them any question we wanted, we also learned more about how Sales, Product Placement, and Key Account Management works nowadays. We had workshops, a speech, and even a trip to a supermarket to see how their strategies were implemented in the real world. So that was pretty cool!

“The event made me understand what Sales is like in a multinational corporation (really different from what I expected and had experienced working in a start-up), and what kinds of career paths one can expect in this field.

“It is also important to know that once you’re in the event, P&G will invite you to move forward in the selection process. They’re really interested in attracting candidates for internships and positions in the company. So for the future, I definitely recommend anyone who’s interested to apply!”
