Whether it’s grabbing a snack between classes, catching up over lunch or shopping after an evening lecture—Caleido is like a second home to them. So, we asked them to name the best restaurants in Caleido Madrid.

You might wonder why you’d take advice from a bunch of college kids. It’s because we’re not talking about regular students. We’re talking individuals from very diverse backgrounds and extensive travel experiences, so it’s no surprise they’re well-versed in world cuisines.

8. Tacos Don Manolito Caleido

From fun entrees like totopos with guac to more traditional dishes like chilaquiles and sincronizadas, this spot offers quick and flavorful bites that’ll keep you coming back for more.

Either way, La Desayunería is the place for you. Start your day with some blueberry pancakes or really fuel up with bacon and eggs. There’s even a kids’ menu for the young’uns!

In a hurry but still craving good food? MásQMenos is the perfect place to grab an instantly prepared meal. You can share some gambas al ajillo or chicken tenders with a friend or enjoy a jamón ibérico sandwich or a burger on your own. With a varied menu that’s great for sharing, MásQMenos serves up Spanish classics like huevos rotos and secreto ibérico. Whether you’re catching up with a friend or grabbing a quick bite, this restaurant has something for everyone.

4. Grosso Napoletano Senza

No need to overthink it, pizza lovers—we found your spot. Grosso Napoletano Senza is the campus go-to for fresh-out-of-the-oven homemade Neapolitan pizza. Whether you’re a fan of classic margherita or looking to try something with truffle, you won’t be disappointed. And for those with a sweet tooth, there’s even a Nutella pizza to top off your meal.

Honest Greens is where the health-conscious crowd heads when they’re looking for a healthy treat made with locally grown ingredients. Tasty salads, grain bowls, and vitamin-packed juices– it’s food that makes you feel good, inside and out! With vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options a-plenty, it’s no wonder this place has gained a loyal following over the years.

2. 5 Guys

Who can resist a good burger? Not our students, that’s for sure! At 5 Guys, they have found their go-to spot for a yummy and straight-forward meal. Customize your burger just the way you like it and don’t forget the hand-cut fries, which are so good, they’ve practically become campus legend. Bonus: Free refills on your drink!

Makan Caleido Madrid

Drumroll, please! Taking the top spot is Makan, a Lebanese restaurant that’s a favorite for its flavorful and affordable wraps and bowls. Plus, most of them are customizable! With plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, Makan has something for everyone. And here’s the cool part—Makan was founded by IE University alumnus Alex Mtaini, who wanted to bring his mother’s recipes from Beirut to campus.
