Unicorn companies have been a topic of discussion for the past two years, and every young entrepreneur—in Silicon Valley or elsewhere—wants to be the next CEO of these private companies valued at $1 billion or more.

Some examples of unicorns are Uber, Airbnb, and Magic Leap, just to name a few. Working for these type of companies is an attractive option for graduates, and they often provide fantastic working conditions.

There are definitely great things about working for unicorns. But before you pursue a career in one of these companies, here are some things you should consider.

  1. Do your homework
  2. Check glassdoor: This platform contains information about almost every company. You can find employee testimonies, salaries, information about the company’s culture, añd so on.
  3. Know what you really want
