Our latest cohort has arrived!

Every year, our campus comes alive with a new generation of thinkers, dreamers and doers—and this year’s intake is already making waves. With over 2,500 students joining from 122 nationalities, the incoming undergraduate class at IE University is a living, breathing snapshot of the world.

This is a moment where strangers from across continents become teammates, roommates and future co-founders. Where languages, cultures and perspectives blend into one shared experience. In short, it’s the start of something extraordinary.

Global from day one

What does a truly international education look like? This year’s class answers that question loud and clear. With 89% international students and every global region represented—from Latin America to the Middle East, North America to Asia-Pacific—our students are experts in what’s top of the world’s collective agenda.

Spain, the U.S., France, Italy, and Germany top the list of represented countries, but walk through campus and you’ll hear over 40 languages spoken—from Swahili and Persian to Korean and Icelandic. Whether it’s during a late-night project sprint or a spontaneous weekend trip, students are constantly building connections that cross cultures and borders.

  • Average languages spoken per student: 3
  • Gender balance: 55% female / 45% male
  • Regional breakdown:
    • APAC: 5%
    • MEA: 14%
    • NA: 11%
    • Latam: 15%
    • Spain: 15%
    • Europe: 40%

One class, unlimited potential

But what really sets this cohort apart is the experiences and talents they bring to campus. This is a class full of people already doing big things—and dreaming even bigger.

Among them are published novelists, environmental activists, startup founders, high-performance athletes and a national champions in math and gymnastics. Plus they’ve interned at top companies like The Economist, Mercedes-Benz, Danone, and P&G.

One is a member of her country’s national symphony orchestra. Another, of the European Youth Parliament. And now, all of them are here, ready to grow together.

Why it all matters

If you’re a prospective student wondering what it’s like to study at IE University, here’s you answer. You’ll be joining an energetic, ambitious, unapologetically internationa cohort. And it’s all built on the idea that learning happens not just in books, but through people.

You don’t have to fit a mold to belong here. You just have to be you, with all your passion and potential. So, don’t wait any longer. Follow this link and start your journey today.
