This four-year journey will take you across three continents, combining academia with real-world experiences to prepare you to lead anywhere in the world. From day one, you’ll be living an international experience in global business to remember.
Let’s unpack how it all works.
A deep-dive into where the Global Bachelor in Business Administration will take you
You will study the Global Bachelor in Business Administration across four world regions. You will spend your first year in Madrid (Europe), your second year in Dubai (Middle East), your third year in Singapore (Asia), and in your final year you can either remain in Madrid to complete your degree or continue to New York City to pursue a master’s. This unique journey allows you to gain business insights and cultural perspectives from every global hub.
1st year: Madrid
Your journey begins in Madrid, the heart of Spain’s vibrant business scene. Here, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of business—finance, marketing, operations—all taught through hands-on projects and dynamic, practical learning. You’ll also travel to Morocco as part of your first-year experience, gaining first-hand insight into regional markets and building the cultural agility that sets great leaders apart.
2nd year: Dubai
In your second year, you’ll head to Dubai, one of the most innovative and fast-growing business hubs in the world. You’ll focus on developing strategic thinking and leadership skills while engaging with real-world business challenges in the Middle East.
Whether you’re working on a case competition, collaborating with local companies, or exploring the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, your time in Dubai is about stepping up and thinking big.
3rd year: Singapore
Year three takes you to Singapore, where you’ll sharpen your expertise in Asia’s most dynamic economic center. This is where you start to shape your future more intentionally, with electives in:
- Sustainability
- Digital transformation
- Entrepreneurship
You’ll also go on business treks to China and Vietnam, giving you deeper exposure to two of the region’s most powerful and fast-changing markets.
4th year or (3+1 option): Madrid or New York City
In your final year, you get to decide how you want to launch your career. You can return to Madrid to finish your undergraduate journey with additional business experiences and global projects—or choose the 3+1 track and head to New York City, where you’ll fast-track into a master’s degree at IE’s campus in NYC.
There are also optional business treks to Chile and beyond, depending on where your interests and ambitions take you.
