If this is the case, the Legal Challenge is the perfect opportunity to enhance your skills. If you’re currently completing your penultimate or final year of a Bachelor of Laws, you’re eligible to participate. This experience will allow you to meet leading professionals from the best law firms in Spain, along with students from different universities and cities participating in the competition.
At IE Law School we seek out talented students who want to test their analytical thinking and teamwork skills while working under pressure. We’re looking for people who are interested in gaining practical experience and a global, innovative perspective while challenging themselves to excel professionally.
The initial phase of the Legal Challenge consists of cracking cases. A jury composed of IE Law School faculty and professionals from Spain’s best law firms will evaluate the proposed solutions.
This phase will be organized in the following cities, in collaboration with a leading firm at the regional and national level:
Madrid – Herbert Smith Freehills (March 2nd)
Bilbao – PwC (March 6th)
Valencia – Uría Menéndez (March 8th)
Barcelona – Allen & Overy (March 15th)
Seville – Montero Aramburu Abogados (March 20th)
The winning teams from the initial phase will be invited to the finals, which will take place on April 13th at IE Law School in Madrid.
The overall winners of the Legal Challenge will receive a 20% scholarship for IE Law School’s Double Masters in Lawyering. These postgraduate degrees prepare students to excel professionally and obtain a global, innovative perspective of the legal sector, as well as to face the challenges that emerge in a constantly changing world.
